Cricket Ink’s Deal for expanded EVDO Data Service.
Cricket wireless continues to expand at an impressive rate by opening up new markets in North Carolina this week. However, they also have inked a deal to setup and expand data services in many markets. The $126million dollar deal involving Alcatel-Lucent will allow Cricket users data speeds of 1.8-3.1/mbps data transfer. Which suggests that Cricket might be getting ready to release data cards similair to Cingular or Verizon. Additionally they will be able to offer expanded 3G Cell Services.
