I don't know about the rest of the world, but in Houston, it's not happening. This is one of the most useful features in having a cell phone, to me. I was shocked when I found out they didn't yet offer this service.. I didn't even think to verify it, because every provider I've ever had, had this ability. Also, maybe it will help the hold up with places like google being able to send notifications via SMS..
